Who am I?
I’ve always been someone who works hard for the things I care about. I spent nearly ten years as a competitive swimmer, eventually becoming a Division I athlete at Georgia Southern University, and that experience shaped so much of who I am today. It taught me discipline, resilience, how to be a great teammate, and how to keep showing up even when things get difficult. When my swimming career ended, I needed a new challenge, so I found running, and completed my first marathon in April. I also spent two years working full-time at Georgia Southern after graduating, an opportunity I intentionally pursued because the university would fund my MBA. Balancing a full-time career with graduate school wasn't always easy, but I knew what I was working toward. It allowed me to earn my MBA while gaining real professional experience, and it says a lot about the way I approach life: I’m willing to work hard, learn, and make the most of an opportunity when it’s in front of me.
Now, I’m ready to bring that same energy into the fashion industry. I’m especially interested in buying, merchandising, wholesale, and e-commerce because they combine the parts of fashion I’m most drawn to: great product, understanding the customer, spotting what feels relevant, and thinking about the business behind it. My experience in luxury styling and merchandising has given me a strong understanding of the customer, while my background in marketing, consumer insights, and analytics has taught me to look beyond what simply looks good and ask why something works. I’m early in my fashion career, and I know I still have a lot to learn, but I can bring a team curiosity, reliability, a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine excitement for the industry. I want to be the person who is willing to jump in, learn quickly, pay attention to the details, and do whatever I can to help the team succeed.
